Jag gillar att läsa böcker, men älskar att titta i böcker. Jag kan sitta i timmar och bara titta på bilder och bli inspirerad.. Här är några av mina favvosar (från höger) : David Lachapelle, en otroligt skicklig och rolig fotograf; YSL Images of design, bilder på YSL mode från 1958 till 1988; Modeboken, mode från 1900 till 2000 av Lotta Lewenhaupt; Hår och Make-up, av makeup artisten Jane Campsie; Cowboy Kate and other Stories, fotografier i svartvitt av Sam Haskins; och sist men inte minst Do It Yourself..

Do It Yourself är en bok med en lite rolig historia bakom.. Tyska fotografen Uwe Ommer och hans fru skulle ut på fest och hade fixat en barnflicka som skulle passa deras barn. När barnen somnat och inget kul fans på tv, så började barnflickan leka med Uwe's kameror. Det hela slutar med att Uwe och hans fru kommer hem och hittar barnflickan poserande framför spegeln i badrummet, med hans kamera, utan så mycket kläder på sig.. Och TADAA!! Då fick han denna idè till Do It Yourself boken.. Ge modellerna en camera och låt dom fota sig själva. Lite fler bilder ser ni nedanför.. Enjoy!

/I like to read books, but I love to look in books. I can honestly sit for hours flipping through picture after picture and get so inspired.. Do It Yourself has a funny story to it.. German photographer Uwe Ommer and his whife were going out one evening and had a babysitter to look after the kids while they were gone.. When the kids had fallen asleep, and there wasn't anything fun on TV, the babysitter started to play around with Uwe's cameras.. The whole thing ends with Uwe and his whife comming home from their night out and find the babysitter posing infront of the bathroom mirror, with his camera, without much clothes on. And TADAAA!! The idèa for Do It Yourself was born..Give the girls a camera and let them do it themselves. More pictures below! Enjoy!
